SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE

Whether you drive a brand new car or an older run-around, regular maintenance is a must. Many of us use our cars every day, but it's easy to put car servicing on the back burner. However, ensuring your vehicle is serviced regularly can make a big difference between a minor repair job and a serious, expensive problem down the track.

Manufacturers have recommended service intervals, which may consist of a simple oil change or could be more in-depth with curtain components requiring replacement.

The most vital part of a car service is to have your oil changed. If you don’t regularly change your oil, sludge may build up which will prevent the correct engine lubrication. Lack of oil pressure could result in engine failure and an expensive repair bill. Making sure your car has its regular service will help you avoid this problem and save you money in the long run.

Besides the normal scheduled services, there are other times when it’s important to have your car checked over. If you are planning a long trip away, have the car checked over to give you peace of mind or if the car has not been used in ages- get it checked over to ensure everything is ok.
